"Surprised that the drawing while under influence of Salvia wasn't way way, WAY stranger."

We have a 6 foot high watermelon salvia we planted in our backyard to attract pollinators to our garden beds. It is very effective and on any given day in the spring you can sit and watch a dozen hummingbirds all jockeying for position to get in and get a shot at the nectar. There are so many bumblebees and honeybees it sounds like an air wing of B-17s taxiing down the runway.

You can (and we do) eat the flowers - we use them in our salads all spring and much of the summer.

However, you must take care not to get leaves in a salad and eat them as they contain powerful, concentrated psychotropic alkaloids.

I saw sounds......

And for three days I peed stones.
